Navigating the New Beauty Landscape: Looking to the Future is the AACS Annual Convention theme for 2011 taking place this weekend at the Hyatt Regency and the Phoenix Convention Center. MODERN is so excited to be a part of this event that brings in hundreds of owners, admissions, financial aid, and school directors together to help elevate the professionalism and passion in today's beauty school graduates--and to champion to message of Beauty Changes Lives.
The convention is packed with expert speakers, panelists from small to large schools, a grand expo hall and entertainment. MODERN's Steve Reiss, and myself, will be presenting the annual Excellence in Education awards, and will be leading breakout sessions throughout the event.
This extensive program includes three and a half days of quality training, social events, networking with beauty school owners/staff from across the country and the opportunity to visit over 190 exhibit booths representing the latest products and services for schools.
