In case you missed it, the last episode of MODERN SALON TV recapped beauty highlights from the Victoria’s Secret fashion show. Along with rockin' bodies, the must-have for the runway show is fabulous hair.

Of course, the costumes, music performances and supermodels didn't disappoint. But the event wasn’t as effortless as it looked; it took a team of experts, including some of the industry’s top beauty professionals, to pull off the show.

In backstage video, Victoria’s Secret beauty expert Lauren Cosenza noted that this year’s look was all about enhancing natural beauty, truly going for that “angelic” look that the VS angels are known for. To that end, lead makeup artist Tom Pecheux aimed for “a very fresh, very natural and very happy” look for the girls. Make-up was kept natural, except for a dramatic eye with liner and volumizing mascara. A pink-nude lipstick was layered with a sheer pink gloss for extra shine, and body bronzing spray and shimmer powder lent an all-over radiance to the skin.

Lead hairstylist Orlando Pita explained the loose, sexy waves he created: “The tousled look ties into the fact that we’re showing lingerie. But it’s ultra-glamorous lingerie, so that’s why we have to put a little bit of a glamour wave in there.” Dry shampoo added body and texture, while a shine mist finished the look. The result? Easy, effortless-looking beauty fit for a supermodel.
