The awards ceremony was hosted by Toni & Guy Creative Director Zak Mascolo and Advanced Academy Director Joseph Marzioli from South Coast Plaza Academy. Hair by Jared Smith.
Contestants submit their best work and the winner of Hairdresser of the Year and Colorist of the Year each receive $1000 cash prize. Hair by Hairdresser of the Year Rachel Brumbaugh.
Rachel Brumbaugh of Toni & Guy South Coast Plaza Academy was selected Hairdresser of the Year and Jared Smith of Toni & Guy Hillcrest Salon in Dallas was named TIGI Colorist of the Year. Hair by Rachel Brumbaugh.
"I wanted the hair soft and balanced--classic with enough of a twist to stand out," said Rachel Brumbaugh.
