Adam Fleischhauer was busy polishing up some models backstage in the model prep room for Wella during the ABS. I was there getting ready to host the Wella Student Competition and Adam saved the day with some fab false eyelashes (my fave).

We started chatting about some of the regular mistakes made by professional make up artists and he just went on and on. He covers three in this short video, but he also adds that a very common mistake made by make up artists is poor foundation or base shade selection. "It should always match the color of the neck," he says. "There should never be a line of demarkation from the face to the neck."

In this video, learn more about prep and also blush and concealor placement.
