Vibrant Red How To: Dan Csicsai's Matrix ColorInsider FormulaSometimes a red can be too warm. And sometimes a red can be too cool. And, rarely, a red can be jussstttt rightttt... such is the case with this radiant red created by Matrix Artistic Designer Dan Csicsai, who used the new ColorInsider by Matrix to develop a true-to-tone result, featured in the April issue of MODERN, that is both sharp and saturated for the most vibrant red.

Formulas/Application
Natural Level: 4 Dark Brown
Formula 1: Matrix ColorInsider 1 oz. /30 grams 5RR+ (5.66+) + 1 oz. 20-volume (6%) ColorInsider Oil-Cream Developer
Formula 2: Matrix ColorInsider 1 oz. /30 grams 6RR+ (6.66+) + 1 oz. 30-volume (9%) ColorInsider Oil-Cream Developer

Divide hair into quadrants. Apply Formula 1 to new growth area. Complete all quadrants. Immediately apply Formula 2 to mid-lengths and ends in all quadrants. Process for 35 minutes. Rinse thoroughly, and cleanse and condition using Matrix Biolage or Total Results.
