4 Looks You Might Have Missed This WeekJennifer Lopez

How fun is Jennifer's sexy ponytail? Thanks to the sleek front and the hair elastic, the look combines everything a client would want from polish, bedhead and volume to create a super flirty look for a night out. Created by her longtime stylist Lorenzo Martin.

Salon tip: Jen rocks a high ponytail with the best of them, but don't neglect the current trendyness of a low ponytail. Celeb stylist Chris McMillan offers up a how-to.

Best known as the blonde cheerleader from "Glee," Dianna recently switched up her color to a rich red hue and has grown her length to her shoulders from her uber-popular chin-length bob. 4 Looks You Might Have Missed This WeekKate Beckinsale

What's so special about this side bun worn by Kate (who's no stranger to the side bun look on the red carpet)? Notice the lack of an all-over side part? Kate's polished look stands out for the casual part in front and the rest of the hair brushed back and to the side, creating an almost-Boho-friendly, romantic look. Created by Sascha Breuer.

Salon tip: Ever use dry shampoo with your updos? Joico's Damien Carney has some tips for how it can help both you and your client when creating a pin-happy look like this one.

Zoe Saldana

At the U.K. premiere of the anticipated Star Trek Into Darkness, Zoe traded up the tight bun she wears throughout the movie for this vintage and elegant updo, complete with a polished and understated finger wave.

Salon tip: Stylist Mara Roszak gave a quick how-to for Zoe's 1930s-era waves:

1. Prep hair with Moroccanoil Heat Styling Spray and rough dry.
2. Use a 1-inch-barrel curling iron, creating pin curls all over as you go.
3. Set the coils with Frédéric Fekkai Sheer Hold Hairspray and let sit for 10 minutes.
4. Brush out the waves and then tease the ends to help create thickness.
5. Tuck ends underneath themselves and pin at the nape of the neck.
6. Spray a halo of Frédéric Fekkai Glossing Mist all over the head to add extra shine.
