MODERN Facebook fan Joey Foglio, an educator for Schwarzkopf Professional and stylist at the Den Salon in Chino Hills, California, created this beautiful color transformation that was inspired by the California sunset.

Here's how he did it:

Step 1: Prelighten the hair with Schwarzkopf Professional BlondeMe Premium Lift (+ with 7 volume all over to remove pre-existing color.

Step 2: Create an oval shape on top with the perimeter dropped out.

Step 3: Color all of the hair underneath with Schwarzkopf Professional 6-88 on base and 9-98 through the ends.

Step 4: Inside of the oval section, apply freehand alternating sections of L-77 with equal parts D-0 and also L-77 with equal parts 7-77.

Step 5: After the color processes and the hair is delicately shampooed, glaze with equal parts 0-55 and 0-00 over everything.
