Dominic Bertani, owner of the Dominic Michael Salons in suburban St. Louis, marked the 21st year that he and his staff have styled the hair for Washington University’s Sam Fox School of Design and Visual Arts’ Annual Fashion Show.

Washington University’s sophomore, junior and senior design majors show off their creations at the Fashion Week-inspired runway show.

Bertani sponsors the Designer of the Year award, which, this year was presented to senior Felicia Podberesky. For the event, the challenge was for sophomore designers to utilize a chevron pattern. Junior designers created color-blocked sheaths and seniors created tailored separates for fall.

At a reception following the show, guests had the opportunity to admire both the student fashions and Dominic Michael Salon’s hair styles. Visit dmsalon.com.
