Summer Blonde: The Power of a Brilliant Highlight

Alison Alhamed | July 19, 2013 | 10:42 AM

Summer Blonde: The Power of a Brilliant Highlight MODERN Facebook fan Drew Noreen, a stylist at Scottsdale, Arizona's Pucci Salon, created this before and after using Wella Blondor lightener, and styled for a finish full of body using Oribe stylers.

Highlighted at regrowth with Wella Blondor Extra Cool Blonde and 25-volume developer, then pulled pieces through ends using the same lightener with 10-volume. Process at room temp until the desired lightness is achieved.

"Using the Extra Cool Blonde helped to give me tonal control without having to glaze," he says. Then he gave a great long layered cut and blowout finished using Oribe products.

"I never like to put my highlight clients under the dryer as the timing and result can be unpredictable as well as the potential for over processing," he says.

Bravo, Drew!
