Salon Kao Vey in San Francisco is known for its luxury services, contemporary styles and inviting environment. Owner Kao Vey Saephanh was named “Best Hair Artist” in 2010 at the San Francisco Fashion Awards and his salon in the city’s financial district is a prime destination for looks that range from classic to fashion forward.

For his Cotton Candy collection, the obvious inspiration was the popular carnival fun food—a spin of pastel colors and frothy texture. Kao utilized the Kevin Murphy Color Bug shades to create pink, purple and neon tones on closely bundled curls to give each style its unique shape and texture.
