The hair and nails for the Carmen Marc Valvo SS2014 collection presented earlier today at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in NYC was particularly beautiful. Ted Gibson dip dyed 22 wigs to create a feathered white to black finish. "Although there is a strong 'similar' statement," he says, "each is finished differently...even if its just cutting the fringe on a diagonal or straight across."

Gina Edwards, lead nail artist for Morgan Taylor, created a 'Black French' using "In The Nude" and "Little Black Dress". "It's not too much of a statement but very present on the nails," she says. "A French manicure never goes out of style."

Meet the artists in these videos and get the overview directly from Ted and Gina.
