Emmy's "Hits" and "Misses" by Terrence Davidson

Maggie Mulhern | September 23, 2013 | 5:14 PM

We asked Terrence Davidson, famed wig and celebrity hairstylist for countless entertainers including Nicki Minaj, Jennifer Hudson, Tyra Banks, Patti Labelle, Mary J Blige and Iman, to offer his "Hits" and "Misses" for some of the looks from the Emmy's. He obliged:

HITS:

Heidi Klum - I loved loved loved how it was a simple pulled back bun. She had a two knot bundle in the back that flowed into another messy bun. Fab!

Carrie Underwood - I loved how she pulled her hair to the side with a very soft and flowing look overall. Not to overdone or underdone. Behind her I want to say with the soft hair pulled to side would be Lily Rabe loved her swoop action.

Kerry Washington - She's always my favorite. She keeps it clean and safe most times with the hair and with that she can't go wrong it's very soft and bouncy but still comes together.

Kelly Osbourne - I'm a fan of that lavender hair regardless of what she does. So hate me or love me but I'm going to always go with Kelly and her lavender hair especially with bangs!!

MISSES:

Well, I didn't really pay too much attention if they were a miss, but Anna Faris was very very bright with her yellow dress and blonde hair. I know I'm a fan of bright colors, but not in the same family of colors from head to toe. It washes out the person.
