Lisa Lobosco has created several textured and elegant styles that can be created with ease in the salon for the bridal, formal or red carpet client. She demonstrated several looks at a press event for Ecru at the Y Gallery Salon in NYC earlier today and offered Modern the exclusive step by step on this low and elegant chignon. "This look can be created quickly and works on just about any long haired client," she say. "It is quite beautiful and if prepped properly will look perfect throughout any event." For this look Lobosco used the new ECRU New York Acacia BB Cream and Sunlight Finishing Spray MAX.

1. Create three ponytails, separated with silicone elastics about two inches apart. Make sure to separate from the lower crown to hide any defined partings from the back.

2. Ruche up from each silicone elastic, pressing to create a textured bubble.

3. Twist each ponytail up into itself and pin into place. Pin the ponytails together to make a chignon.

In this video Lobosco shows HOW TO create the chignon in less than three minutes.
