Could this be the "Google" of our industry? Millennium Software has moved to a brand new headquarters in Parsippany, NJ. The 44,000 square foot, three floor building is now in the former Staples headquarters in a tasteful industrial park. While the Staples team has sized down...Millennium is sizing up. A bit more than 100 employees roam the halls, and Millennium is preparing to double its force in this location.

While there are many impressive spaces throughout the building, it is the auditorium that directly impacts industry visitors. The room, lit by enormous windows on three sides, holds up to 300 and will be used for large educational and industry events. A smaller, more intimate Education Room is populated with computers and white boards and is designed for more personal training.

MODERN stopped by earlier this week to check out the site. There is plenty of parking (an issue at the former headquarters) and deer and the occasional bear can be found romping around in the adjacent woods. Inside everything is fresh and clean and quite modern. The staff seems happy and content...and why shouldn't they? Millennium founder John Harms and VP of Enterprise Sales Robert Maconi invited the staff to participate in decor and color selection.  Not surprisingly, there are smiles all around.

Maconi, who was instrumental in the design and layout of the space, offered to take us on a tour. Many of the highlights are covered in this ten minute video, but nothing compares to the real thing. To get a deeper insight, MODERN's Beauty and Fashion Director Maggie Mulhern had a little chit chat with John Harms himself who appears quite comfortable in his spacious but cozy office which is adjacent to the "wine room". This is quite the place.
