2014 GOLDEN GLOBES: Kate Beckinsale's Low, Messy BunSascha Breuer, using Moroccanoil, created a low, side messy bun for Kate Beckinsale for the 2014 Golden Globes. “With her wholesome English rose good looks, Kate can get away with quite a bit of edginess in her hairstyle," says Breuer, "so we went with a punk-inspired diva look that’s a bit different from her usual soft flowing waves.”

Here Breuer offers the HOW TO:

STEP 1: Begin blow drying the hair using a skeleton brush, and then use your fingers to create texture and additional volume.

STEP 2: Once the hair is fully dry, separate into a horseshoe shaped section and clip the top section away.

STEP 3: Pull the bottom section into a low, side ponytail at the nape and secure with an elastic. Coil and wrap the tail into a messy bun. Tug a few pieces out to create a natural fall and to loosen the bun. Secure with bobby pins.

STEP 4: Take the hair from the top section and backcomb the base using the Moroccanoil Ionic Ceramic Round Brush.

STEP 5: Secure the top section into the existing bun.

STEP 6: Mist the hair with Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray Medium to add shine and long-lasting flexible hold.

STEP 7: Spray a little product onto the finger tips and work along the single strands to help define the pieces.
