Some feel she was overlooked by the Hollywood Foreign Press for this year’s 2014 Golden Globe nominations but she was certainly noticed on the red carpet! Celebrity stylist Rob Talty used Lizzy Caplan’s sleek column gown with metallic crocheted accents as the inspirational launching point for her "Art Deco" waved style. “I wanted Lizzy’s hair to feel relaxed and modern with a hint of Deco,” says Talty.

2014 GOLDEN GLOBES: Lizzy Caplan Dazzles With "Deco" WavesHow Talty created the style:

STEP 1: Talty shampooed with Joico Moisture Recovery Shampoo and treated strands with Joico K-PAK RevitaLuxe Intense Hydrator.

STEP 2: Then, he applied Joico Power Whip whipped foam evenly to slightly damp hair and created a deep side part with a fine tooth comb.

STEP 3: The hair was dried with a blow dryer and small round brush. Avoid disturbing the part to maintain texture and movement.

STEP 4: Talty divided the hair into vertical sections and set each one on a half-inch curling iron. For the fringe section, he directed the hair off of the face, using a quarter inch curling iron and a small amount of finishing spray for extra hold.

STEP 5: To finish, he misted Lizzy's locks with spring water, pinched the ends with Joico Texture Boost dry spray wax for shape and definition and misted with a humidity blocking hairspray.
