Doves Studio: In Living Color, Baliage

Web Editor | July 10, 2011 | 6:06 PM
This makeover was created by Wella Creative Directors Sonya and Christopher Dove.

Sonya and Christopher Dove love color, but both agree that it doesn’t always have to be complicated to give a dramatic result. At The Doves Studio, the Wella Creative Directors’ first U.S. salon, the duo, with their creative team, transformed their models  with simple, salon-friendly techniques that don’t ask for too much commitment from the client, but will keep her coming back.

To blend and brighten Level-9 ends and a Level-5 base on Calli, the team applied color between a Level 7 and 8.
Since a regular foiling technique would be too much maintenance for this surfer girl, the color was applied with a baliage technique.
