Web Editor | July 10, 2011 | 6:17 PM

Matrix’s Townsend Styles TorontoMatrix celebrity stylist Mark Townsend had four of his most high-profile clients attending the Toronto Film Festival and he was there to tend to each of them. Townsend created a soft wavy look for Reese Witherspoon during press day and a glamorous Veronica Lake style for the premier of her movie Rendition.

Townsend used Matrix Amplify Body Texturizer to keep Jennifer Garner’s hair perfect during press interviews and Biolage Shielding Shine Mist to keep her red carpet ponytail sleek and shiny.

Cate Blanchett’s naturally curly hair was kept in control with Townsend’s use of Vavoom Gold Heat Iron-In Control. The addition of Biolage Shaping Crème Wax created edgy, unstructured texture for the premiere of her film Elizabeth: The Golden Age.

Townsend’s client Jennifer Connelly received several styles during her stay in Toronto. Using Vavoom Gold Heat Iron-In Control, Biolage Shaping Crème Wax and Vavoom Root Riser, Townsend gave Connelly a straight and simple style, a textured ponytail and long, loose, textured waves for her premiere.
