CEA Educator of the Year Named

The Cosmetology Educators of America (CEA) has named Wendy Spangler, educator at Brio Academy of Cosmetology in Meridien, Connecticut, as the N.F. Cimaglia Cosmetology Educator of the Year.The announcement was made at a ceremony during the association’s 13th annual convention in Las Vegas. In recognition of her achievement, Spangler received a crystal award, an all-expense-paid trip to the CEA Convention, an all-expenses paid trip to the Milady Career Institute advanced education program of her choice, a personalized DVD, and a $2,500 cash award, courtesy of Milady. “The educator is grateful for the opportunity to stand in a room full of learners,” says Spangler. “I am grateful for the opportunity to influence these individuals in life skills, as well as in cosmetology skills.”
