UCharge Flatironed Styles, $45 to $85
At Ulta salons throughout the country, frizz-free styles start with a hair and scalp analysis, and a customized Redken Chemistry treatment. According to Mezei Jefferson, National Salon Educator and Redken Artist, this preps the hair for a flatironing service and helps repair the hair.

For curly or sensitized hair, he combines Real Control and Smooth Down Chemistry shots. The hair is then blown dry, using the appropriate heat-styling products. “Once the hair is dried, we personalize the flatiron technique to create anything from sleek and straight to shiny volume and wave,” he says.
