P&G Salon Professional, which includes brands Wella, Sebastian, Graham Webb International, Clairol Professional and Nioxin, is making a promise to its salon owners and professionals to help them thrive during hard economic times.

“We’re not talking about just surviving in these changing times,” said Reuben Carranza, managing director of P&G Professional Care, “We are the trusted partners to those salons that are thriving. We’ve talked with many of our partner salons, especially those using our business-building techniques, and they are already seeing that ‘light at the end of the recession tunnel.’”

In the coming months, P&G is launching a campaign to ensure all salons have business education as well as the service and retail incentives to help them emerge from the recession with a healthy business. They will share stories from successful partner salons and encourage other salons to share their success stories.

In the first of a series, three successful salon owners and P&G partners will share their inspirational stories: Eva Scrivo, Wella’s newest spokesperson and owner of two namesake salons in NYC; Dan Johnson of Chicago’s Mario Tricoci Salons & Day Spas and Joseph Cozza of Joseph Cozza Salon in San Francisco.
