Nails, Nails, Nails!

Laurel Nelson | July 10, 2011 | 8:15 PM

For my most recent manicure I tried out Party in My Cabana from OPI’s new South Beach collection for Spring/Summer 2009. I think it’s going to be my go-to color this season. It’s fun and bright, but still professional enough for the office. Check it out with the rest of the collection at

Essie has also brightened up with its 2009 Summer Collection. I can’t wait to paint the bubblegum-hued Lovie Dovie on my toes. It, along with all the other summery shades, are sure to be client favorites this year. See them all at

What can possibly compete with new color collections? New scents! Today I received the new Almond SpaManicure Treatment from CND and the Almond Hydrating Lotion became an instant obsession! I keep having to remind myself it’s not edible. It smells soooo delicious! And with the milk bath, masque, scrub and soothing crème that also come with the treatment, my hands are in for a major makeover. Visit to check out the new line.

Don’t forget to put these bottles of fun front and center in your retail area … in a bad economy a bottle of nail polish or scented lotion is just the right price for clients looking for a little extra treat.
