Scent of a Hairspray

So when I saw TIGI’s new Free UR Mind Firm Hold Hairspray from the Love Peace and the Planet line featured a cherry almond scent—my interest was immediately piqued. And when I got my first whiff of fruity cherries and sweet almond, I tossed my old bottle of spray into the trash—it didn’t stand a chance against this dessert for the nose.

The first time I used the product, I was so enamored with the scent that I didn’t really care how well it worked. Lucky for me, it worked just fine. Actually, more than  fine. I’ve been pleasantly surprised how well it has kept my stubborn cowlick (right in the middle of my bangs, of course) at bay and held up through the ridiculous humidity of Chicago in the summer.

There’s only one problem with this new staple in my arsenal of products—I’m always tempted to spray it all over me (perfume style). Word to the wise: Don’t do it. The good news is: Free UR Mind does not stand alone! The other products in the line (also featuring the delicious cherry almond scent) include a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner, a texturizer, a leave-in conditioner and a volumizer & thickener.
