THE EVENT:

The introduction of Phyto Professional: Eight plant-infused formulas designed to inspire multi-dimensional styles while maintaining the hair's integrity. The line will replace the existing Phyto Pro line and is available this month.

THE DETAILS: Celeb stylist Andy LeCompte demonstrated the products on models at Phyto Universe, the Phyto headquarters in New York City. More than 30 editors from both professional and consumer publications were in attendance. Phyto's acacia collagen, containing oligosaccharides to hydrate and protect, has been incorporated into the new formula.

THE STORY: The Phyto botanical hair care treatment line was created by Parisian stylist Patrick Ales in 1967. The formulas boast high concentrations of active botanical extracts. "This line is for the eco-conscious stylist and consumer alike who see that fashion and beauty, combined with the finest plant research and ingredients, is the ultimate indulgence," says Julie Royer, Phyto Marketing Manager.

THE LAST WORD: We're excited to offer Phyto Professional exclusively to salons as we continue to strengthen our presence in the professional arena, create a community and inspire their artistry," says Raphael Yousri, President of Ales Group, USA.
