Zac Posen went "retro" for his fall/winter 2010 collection, so Odile Gilbert decided long, wavy hair would best compliment the designs. Odile, on behalf of L'Oréal Professionnel, created simple, sexy waves.

"Zac and I talked about how influential the downtown scene is," says Odile, and it felt like a great fit with his clothes to have long wavy hair with some body to it. The results were really beautiful hair that bounced as the models walked the runway."

The soft look was a perfect compliment to the 1940s reconstruction seen on the runway.

To get the look, Odile  prepped the hair with L'Oréal Professionnel's Texture Expert Lift Extreme, a volumizing mousse that lifts at the roots. She then parted the hair straight down the middle and in sections wrapped the hair around the barrel of a curling iron to create loose curls. Odile finished the look with L'Oréal Professionnel's Texture Expert Freezing Mist, a hard hold hairspray that seals out humidity and creates a nice shine.
