America’s Beauty Show, held on March 28-30 2009 at Chicago’s McCormick Place, featured an array of seminars, workshops and live education in The Runway with stage presentations by Irene Meikle for Mizani, Kim Vo for Kim Vo Haircare, Orlando Pita for T3, Kim Kimble for Sessions Beauty, Angus Mitchell, Robert Cromeans and Stephanie Kocielski for JPMS, Danny Lapointe and Anita Gutierrez for Clairol Professional and Robin Sween, Michael Crispel, Edwin Johnston, Deborah Gavin, John Simpson and Dimitrios Tsioumas for Goldwell/KMS.
 
Special conferences at ABS include: SalonSpa Sustainability Summit, the CEO Panel, The International Nail Technicians Association Conference, African American Hair 2009, America’s Latino Beauty Congress, the School Assembly and a full agenda of advanced classes and workshops and manufacturer classrooms for Continuing Education credits and product knowledge.

These artists, all working at Intercoiffure member salons, were asked to to submit a dynamic haircut and texture displaying versatility and creativity with distinct color as a vivid component of the overall look.
