The What's Next Awards calls for stylists nationwide to create their most unique and edgy
looks to support the current volume focus theme, upload a photo of their creation, share it with
friends, clients and peers, and finally, await their fame fate. Bi-weekly winners will be selected
by self-professed beauty tastemakers to make a team of eight finalists, who will then go on to a
final evaluation by Sebastian's Stylist Design Team comprised of top talent, Thomas Dunkin
and Janine Jarman.

The grand prize winner will be awarded a feature spot in BlackBook magazine and will win
a trip for two to New York City where he or she will work alongside select stylists from across
the country as part of the Sebastian stylist team at Spring 2011 Fashion Week.

"The first phase of the What's Next Awards was hugely successful-both from a stylist interest
standpoint and from a consumer engagement perspective," says Reuben Carranza, Director,
NA Professional Salon, P&G Salon Professional. "It's exactly the creative platform that both
groups were craving. Stylists thrive on showcasing their talents and inspiring their peers, and
consumers appreciate the ability to play an important role in determining what's next in hair fashion."
