I have so many good things to say about the Cricket Centrix Q-Zone Dryer-and I will also say, that I threw out my old hair dryer once I tried this one! Before using this hair dryer, the box boasted that it's "Insanely Quiet" technology is-to put it simply-very quiet...and it is! It by no means has the usual roar like other hair dryers. You can still hear it (a soft humming), but it will definitely reduce your salon noise pollution.

The dryer takes very little power to operate (1500 watts) and it has a two speed motor. It uses ionic technology to help reduce drying time dramatically. I have used this dryer for three days in a row so far, and I can honestly say it does not take as long to dry my hair compared to my old hair dryer (which was-eek...going on 4 or 5 years old). It took about seven minutes for my long hair (past my shoulders) to dry completely. Usually, it takes me anywhere from 12 to 15 minutes.

The dryer is also very lightweight so your arm doesn't get nearly as tired, which is nice when you're a stylist and your consistently blow-drying hair day in and day out.

Now for my other favorite part: the cold-shot dual position button! As you can see in the photo below there are three settings for heat and speed on the hair dryer (you can noticeably tell a difference between the heat settings). Once you hit that cold-shot button it goes within seconds from hot to cold air. It's kind of neat.

This product is also eco-friendly because it has 100 percent recyclable packaging and it uses less energy. So, if you are looking for a new blow dryer, this is a cool one to try...

Until next time,

Lauren
