Stuart's precise and honest responses to the product usage, performance, and endurance was invaluable. Again as we were testing Color Gels for the real world, Stuart and his team at Gavert Atelier were most helpful. He was protective of Redken, especially the color brands, and wanted us all to succeed.

Stuart Gavert

Over the years, Stuart and I became more friendly and close. Although time and space separated us, especially after I moved to New York, he was attentive and careful to keep our communication channels alive and well.

He and Cody, his partner-both in business and in life-had dedicated themselves to hair color and hair design education. They were presented on major platforms here in the United States and also spent enormous time in Japan where the audiences loved their style, skills and generosity.

Last week was Stuart's final week in his salon. He left us far too soon, as it seemed there were more color techniques to create and share with the world. He was devoted to his gifts and talents, to his calling to serve.

I will miss his notes of friendship and his hugs of welcome whenever I entered his salon in Beverly Hills. I pray that he has heard the Master's words, "Well done, good and faithful servant."
