Ed Hardy Launches Vintage Blow Dryer and Flatiron

Maggie Mulhern | July 10, 2011 | 11:28 PM

IGP Beauty and Ed Hardy have teamed up to put the fun back in styling tools. The Ed Hardy Vintage Collage Hair Tool Line features a blow dryer and iron covered with the vivid and bold designs of Ed Hardy. As if they aren’t already “cool” enough, the professional stylists for MTV and Disney are using the tools in the hair departments. They have also been seen on the sets of several films and television shows including Gossip Girl, Jersey Shore, Entourage and Friday Night Lights.

The designs for the tools are actual tattoo artwork created by Don Ed Hardy himself. "Ed Hardy is considered by many to be the Godfather of Tattoo," says Jennifer Wilson, Director of Marketing & Product Development, IGP Beauty. "We are thrilled to combine the Ed Hardy classic American tattoo art with the superior performance of our styling tools."

In addition to great graphics, the Ed Hardy Vintage Collage Styling Iron features tourmaline, free floating plates, a 9 foot length cord with a 360° swivel connection to prevent tangling and a variable temperature control up to 410°F.

The Blow Dryer produces negative ions, a long lasting professional DC motor, 2 concentrators for controlled styling and 1800 watts maximum power.

Each tool has a $130 suggested retail price. For more info: www.igpbeauty.com
