Doughty has enjoyed a long career as both teacher and award-winning color artist, which began in the UK and has taken her all over the world. She is a leader in styling hair for photo shoots and events and mentors up-and-coming stylists in the art of editorial styling. She also received NAHA's Haircolorist of the Year Award in 2003 and the NAHA Texture award in 2004. In her spare time, Doughty maintains the manes of celebrities such as Rene Russo, Elizabeth Banks, Daryl Hannah, Leelee Sobieski, Liz Phair, Robin McGraw and many others.

The dynamic duo of Cole and Yodice develop innovative combinations of cut and color to satisfy clients, and keep hair color in the salon and out of the kitchen. As show team leaders, they travel the world to educate hairdressers on collections, trends, and the synergy between cut and color. The pair created the Block Color techniques that the international color community voted Most Innovative Technique Developed by a Manufacturer at Haircolor USA 2002; they received the prestigious Haircolorist of the Year Award at Haircolor USA 2003; and in 2004 they won the NAHA Master Hairstylist of the Year Award. In 2007 Cole was appointed Fashion Director for Intercoiffure North American and received the prestigious Knight Award of the Ordre de la Chevalerie.

They continue to inspire throughout the U.S. and internationally through classes taught at their prestigious Colorcutting USA Academy in Carefree, Arizona, as well as from the platform, via Paul Mitchell collections and through educational DVDs.
