I don’t know about you, but I adored the pageantry of the royal wedding. I was glued to the television as Kate Middleton put her best face forward and walked down the isle in an Alexander McQueen gown to become the Duchess of Cambridge.

Get Kate's Face

Kate Middleton

Believe it or not, Kate – with lessons from make-up artist Arabella Preston– did her own make-up on her wedding day.

Kate wore a fresh and modern take on classic glamour make-up with slightly smoky eyes, pink cheeks and lips and gorgeous thick manicured brows.

If your clients want Kate’s famous face – read on:

First and foremost, Kate has distinctive thick groomed eyebrows – use a pencil or powder to fill in brows and brush them up with a brow gel. Next, line the eyes with a dark espresso pencil and smudge with a Q-tip. Blend a dark taupe shadow into the crease and outer corners and finish with a matte ivory shadow on the lid and brow bone. Curl the lashes and add a modest amount of black mascara.

Swirl a rosy pink blush onto the apples of the cheeks and complete the visage with a semi-matte pink lipstick – no gloss to rub off on the dress!

To top off the look, pick a fun hat and treat your client to tea and biscuits.
