Need some color inspiration? Using Pravana ChromaSilk and VIVIDs as the tools to create an inspiring look for stylists who are thinking about entering Pravana's Show Us Your VIVIDs contest, Brig Van Osten stretched her color boundaries by skipping the use of paper, and instead used hair as her canvas for this look.

Color Drafting Using Pravana Vivids

To create this look Van Osten used Color Drafting, a technique she uses to segregate hair for unique color placement by using tape. By Color Drafting the outline of the model's short bob, Brig evolved the traditionally monotone style to a prismatic spectacle, dispersing colors at every angle.

"I did take risks with this technique, I wasn't 100 percent sure if I was going to love it. But I do, I love it," says Van Osten. "Pravana VIVIDs provided the perfect consistency and delivers vibrant, powerful and "wow" hair color. I have the ability to take the ten shades and exploit them into countless custom colors creating unbelievable hair."
