OPI Launches Shatter Coat in Gold

August 7, 2011 | 7:30 PM

OPI Launches Shatter Coat in GoldOPI announces the introduction of a new Gold hue to the company’s bestselling Shatter line. This rich, textured Gold shade will instantly add a chic, bold look when paired with the season’s fashion trends. Inspired by graffiti art, Shatter leaves behind a crackled, two-texture finish when painted over any completely dry OPI nail lacquer. Adding top coat takes Shatter from matte to glossy in seconds.

“Fans of the Shatter line are continuously anticipating new colors,” says Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, OPI Executive VP & Artistic Director. “Gold is a timeless, classic shade, and continues to reign as a prominent color in a variety of accessories, from sparkly bracelets and stiletto heels to handbag hardware and now, Shatter!”

In addition to the new Gold Shatter, the line also features the Shatter coat in seven colors, including Black, Silver, White, Red, Turquoise, Navy and Blue.

All Shatter products contain no DBP, Toluene, or Formaldehyde, and feature OPI’s exclusive ProWide™ Brush for the ultimate in application.

Gold Shatter will be available beginning September 2011 at Professional Salons, including Beauty Brands, Beauty First, Chatters, Dillard’s, JCPenney, Pure Beauty, Regis, Trade Secret, and ULTA, for $8.50.
