Katie Weiler | October 7, 2011 | 12:02 PM

MSTV HIGHLIGHTS: John Simpson Teaches How to Create Fab Fringe Last week's episode of MODERN SALON TV featured Goldwell North American art director John C. Simpson, who shared his step-by-step instructions on how to create dimensional fringe using foils and unique color placement—all in less than 60 seconds! Simpson's tricks include melding two to four shades of Goldwell color together and using the art of diffusion to eliminate any "show-and-tell" lines.

He says, "The light is only as strong as the dark that sits beside it, and this quick and easy tip in a minute gives you a brilliant result."
