Known for coiffing some of Hollywood’s top starlets like Ashley Greene, Gabrielle Union, Angelina Jolie, Anne Hathaway and Zoe Saldana (also the spokesperson for “Beauty Changes Lives” and the hair guru on TLC’s hit show, What Not to Wear) Celebrity Stylist Ted Gibson has announced plans for a new Ted Gibson Salon in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida at the W Hotel. With interiors envisioned by acclaimed Clodagh Design, this 517-room, 23-story oceanfront hotel provides a modern, fully integrated lifestyle experience. The Ted Gibson salon is slated to open in a storefront space at the property in Fall 2011.

The 2,000-square-foot space will feature 14 stations, Ted Gibson hair care products as well as a L’Oreal Professional color atelier offering the full range of INOA hair color and styling products. The salon will have a chic minimalist vibe that leaves guests refreshed, relaxed and rejuvenated.

“I am thrilled to bring the Ted Gibson brand to Fort Lauderdale,” Gibson said. “Partnering with the W Hotel is a perfect fit, as we share the same innovative philosophy that will help bring a new level of sophistication and style to the region.”

To focus on his new Ft. Lauderdale location Ted Gibson will be removing his brand from the current Washington, DC location in February 2011. For more information visit www.tedgibsonbeauty.com.
