Chromatics Announced by Redken

Maggie Mulhern | January 9, 2012 | 2:35 PM

Chromatics, the new Redken color based on the breakthrough Oil Delivery System2 was introduced this morning at RAC2012 at the Red Rock Resort in Las Vegas. Redken Team leader Dhaniel Doud gave an overview of the line to the 900 Redken and Pureology educators in attendence.

The new Chromatics line, the Prismatic Permanent color line by Redken, has multiple benefits:

ODS 2 + Protein Extract Technology revolutionizes the way active ingredients and haircolor are delivered into the hair strand. The formula surrounds the strand, propels color into the cortex and fortifies the hair. There is no ammonia in this odorless formula, and Chromatics offers up to 100% coverage delivering even results from root to tip. The two part system mixes in a 1 to 1 ratio with a 35 minute processing time and may be applied with either a bowl and brush or bottle. There are 48 shades including natural and natural warm families, and includes a Clear shade. The dual shade naming system makes formulation easy for colorists to visualize the end result as the breakdown includes alphabetic and numeric designations, all in a traditional level system.

Expected to launch in March!
