1. Begin the smoothing service at the nape. Take fine horizontal sections and brush the product onto the hair, keeping ¼-inch off scalp. Blend up to the crown.

2. At the sides, switch to vertical sections.

3. Process approximately 15 minutes then perform a “knot test” to confirm the bonds have been broken. Rinse thoroughly for 10 minutes.

4. Blow dry section by section to remove 80 percent of moisture.

5. Once one section is dried, go through 2 to 3 times with a flatiron set at 450°.

6. Continue alternating the blow dry and flatiron throughout the hair.

7. Now neutralize. Apply product to each section using the brush and bowl method. Begin at the nape. Work up to the top, following the previous sections. Process for 10 minutes, then rinse.

8. Once processed, go through and tweak the cut. Project up sections from along the top, fan and deep point-cut.
