FASHION WEEK: Venexiana Fashion and Hair

The Venexiana show was absolutely FANTASTIC. Seventy looks were debuted this evening during New York's Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, SEVENTY! In a show that had music pumping from Ben Brunnemer, make-up by Lisa Aharon for Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics, and hair by Jeffrey Reitz for Tela Design Studio by Philip Pelusi, attendees were in for a REAL treat.

The Fall 2012 looks were a combination of luxe fabrics, bright prints, one-shouldered gowns and crystal-strapped cocktail dresses. Spots of fur were also seen on the runway, alongside sage, rose and metallic  reptile-scaled evening looks.

Oh! And the hair! It was fashioned into an old-world updo, with crimped texture in the front and a french-twist/bun in the back. Click here to go backstage with MODERN's Maggie Mulhern and get up close shots of the hair—it's STUNNING.

These artists, all working at Intercoiffure member salons, were asked to to submit a dynamic haircut and texture displaying versatility and creativity with distinct color as a vivid component of the overall look.
