One of my favorite events to attend at America's Beauty Show (ABS) in Chicago is the CND Shellac Runway Show. I remember last year when I attended the first show ever presented at ABS, thinking to myself, "How is the audience supposed to see such a tiny feature on the models?" Well, luckily there's a huge screen on both sides of the room that helps you see up close. Or, luckily for me, I have a camera that zooms!. ;)
After attending the CND Shellac Runway Show in 2011, and snapping some photos, I realized that they ended up being some of the best I took at the show last year. So, I just HAD to go to the show this year to see the new designs. To start of the show, the marvelous Jan Arnold said a few words to the audience and talked primarily about CND's history and recent accomplishments. Each of the nails shown in the presentation are individually hand-crafted, and are influenced by fashion. Arnold introduced some new trends for the season including "New Rock N' Roll," "Organi-tech," and "Treasured Antiquity."
I tried to get up as close as I could to these models to show you these nail designs. Flip through the album below. They are fantastic!
