Discover Beauty Forms Retail Partnership

Cosmoprof North America (CPNA) announced that will partner with CPNA’s Discover Beauty program to find brands for its new e-commerce site,, which launches Spring 2012.  

Discover Beauty is a program that matches leading specialty retailers with emerging beauty and skin care brands at Cosmoprof North America, held during the Professional Beauty Association’s Beauty Week. Product companies must be selected to participate in Discover Beauty, ensuring an elite array of new, cutting-edge emerging brands. Discover Beauty’s success during the six years it has been sponsored by CPNA, has depended on the unique brands exhibiting and the retailers that participate in the program. Show organizers arrange pre-scheduled sales meetings and events with key national and international retailers for the Discover Beauty brands., created by Dr. Mehmet Oz and Dr. Michael Roizen in 2011, is a website that presents visitors with information on the inter-relationship between beauty and science. The site offers scientifically proven quizzes and tools to help visitors measure and improve all aspects of their personal beauty and wellness. With over 10 million visits to the site since its launch last July, will launch this spring carrying brands that deliver the science of beauty message. Merchants from will attend the Discover Beauty meetings and then choose three brands that best fit with the philosophy. The three selected Discover Beauty brands will be promoted and carried by as an exclusive offering and will be marketed to their customers for a limited time. The top selling brand from these three will become a permanent addition to the Site.
