Salon 4-21 Celebrates With a Grand Opening

Maggie Mulhern | May 3, 2012 | 6:36 AM

The team at Salon 4-21 of Scarsdale, NY invited hundreds of family, friends and clients to attend the grand opening recently, held on April 21! This was a particularly GRAND opening because owners Madelaine Bruno and Robert Dougherty held raffles, silent auctions and a 50/50, with all proceeds going to the American Heart Association. "Our sister Mary died at age 57 of a heart attack," Madelaine told me before our interview. "Not only are we doing this in her honor, but we have also named the salon for her birthday." Several thousand dollars were ultimately donated in her honor. It was quite a celebration.
