The approaching Mother’s Day weekend is a perfect time for a little mother/daughter bonding with a trip to the salon or spa to share some beauty time together.

American International Industries was in the spirit when it teamed up with the non-profit Wish Upon a Teen organization to pamper a very special group of mothers and daughters at the Sonya Dakar Skin Clinic in Beverly Hills.

AII’s vast range of professional beauty products includes China Glaze Nail Lacquer, Ardell Lashes, It’s so Easy Nail Art and other mani-pedi, cosmetics and skin care brands. On April 30, the clients enjoying nail, lash and hand care services, courtesy of AII and Wish Upon a Teen, were young cancer patients from the Mattel Children’s Hospital, UCLA and their moms.

Members of the Stila Pro team of make-up specialists offered cosmetic applications, including Ardell Lashes and Brow Powder to help create and define lashes and brows reduced or lost from treatment regimens.

The young women and their moms were also treated to manicures with bright China Glaze lacquers and luxurious hand massages and treatments. It’s So Easy nail art, especially in zebra stripes, and China Glaze Glitter Polish were the top requests.

The experience was a testament to the power of beauty treatments to lift spirits and build confidence as the pampered teens and their moms received a needed respite and left with goody bags of AII products including It’s So Easy Nail Art, Poshe Cuticle Care, Winning Nails Fun Toe Separators, Checi Pro Foot Files and Futfriend Toeless Pedicure Socks.
