Block Party :: Stenson used the Gloss Sync shades as an overall toning color palette incorporating block color placement. The fringe is the focal point and hero. Playing with shapes and color together, and working with the active and inactive parts of the hair, the duo create a fresh structure and movement.

Power Platinum :: Stenson and Carver kept the same bold burst of tone complemented with the fluidity of the hair cut. Using the Gloss Sync shades as all-over color, platinum is taken to new levels with a violet hue.

For this session, Matrix Artistic Directors Nick Stenson and Ammon Carver worked together to create two edgy finishes using the new Gloss Sync color shades as their palette. The concept was inspired by an “urban hipster,” says Stenson, who created the color for this MODERN exclusive, and tweaked to a fresh modern color using pastel pantones.

“The inspiration came from the younger generation,” says Carver, who created the silhouettes. “These are the risk-taking women who like to celebrate their personality and individuality through unique styles. These are the young women who like to stand out from the crowd.”
