renew how-to: Expert Eye Shadow Application
company: Brushes by Karen /800-722-0528/
target results: Perfectly blended eye shadow.
service summary:
1. Start with a clean face. With a large, fluffy shadow brush, stroke one neutral shade over the entire lid from the lash line to eyebrow.
2. To give client an intense, warm look, apply dark colors in the crease. If client has deep-set eyes, start from the inner corner of the eye and blend outward toward the outer corner. If she has close-set eyes, start from the center of the lid and draw out.
3. Apply shadow with a Squirrel Crease Brush. The silky squirrel hair will glide the color on with little effort and minor blending, if any, required. The point of the brush will fit snug in the crease; swipe the brush back and forth in a windshield wiper motion.
4. To add highlight, apply a lighter shade can on the brow bone area just over the crease color to reflect the light and open the eye area.
recommended tools: Large shadow brush: Chisel Double Shader; Squirrel crease brush: Mini Squirrel Crease; Highlighter brush: Chisel Deluxe Fluff or Squirrel Precision Three
treatment duration: 10 minutes
