Lauren Salapatek | September 28, 2012 | 12:11 PM

Want to create a retro-inspired shape with modern texture? KMS California National Technical Training Manager Simon Miller suggests this easy technique sure to please the client who wants sleek sides with fullness in the front.

Try it: Apply KMS California Hairstay Style Boost to hair and comb through. Rough dry the hair using fingers to create separation and texture. Maneuver a small amount of hair gel or wax into hair with fingertips to create shine and flexibility. Place hair into desired shape and finish with maximum hold hair spray.
