HOW TO: Now This Is How It's Done

Susan Aw (@susan.aw), one of our favorite colorists based at Embellish Salon, Arcadia, California, has done it again. Here she offers the details for this tasteful transformation.

 

Step 1. Apply to root area Kenra 6AA+ Blue booster blended with 20 volume developer.

Step 2. Balayge low-lights using Kenra Demi - 7A+6N

Step 3. Balayage Highlights using Paul Mitchell DPL + Olaplex

Step 4: Process for about 20 mins, lifting to level 8/9.

Step 5. Tone from root to midshaft with Paul Mitchell PM Shines 8A+8BV.

Step 6: Tone from midshape to ends with Paul Mitchell PM Shines 8BV.

Step 7: Process at room temperature for 20 minutes.
