Balayage Ombre Highlights and Color Melt

Anne Moratto | November 18, 2014 | 11:12 AM

Pam Edwards (@hairbypam), a Sacramento-based hairdresser and hair extension artist, colormelted her client's hair a few days before starting on round two. Here's how she described the second phase on Instagram:

“Balayage ombre highlights using Solaris Lightener. I used foils and papers to help keep the bleach moist as I needed it to lift a lot. No toner used. Olaplex used in my lightener and no breakage, bleaching on top of prelightened hair.”

CONVERSION: From Warm to Cool

Maggie Mulhern | April 17, 2017

"This client came in with very brassy, yellow and orange tones throughout her hair," says Austin Senior. "She was all levels 8 and 9 with about 5 inches of her natural level 7 regrowth. Her goal was a very cool platinum blonde with no silver and a shadow root slightly darker/cooler than her natural level." Here Senior shares the details for this makeover.
