Formula How-To: Sea-Foam Green to Rose Gold
There's a bit of a double-edged sword aspect to all those fun, fashion colors you've been painting on the past year or two. On the plus side, they probably spark some serious creativity within your I've-been-coloring-brunettes-and-blondes-for-years soul, but on the less savory side, variegated color can be a pain to remove and shift.
Such was the predicament with Tim Maguire's client at Aurelio Salon in Howell, New Jersey.
"This particular client was quite the challenge," Maguire says. "She came in with about four inches of new growth with old highlights on her ends that were faded a mint green. Months before, she had colored her hair herself to make it lavender, and the green was the faded-out result."
But where there's a will, there's a way.
