We really can't blame anyone for wanting to recreate style icon Brigitte Bardot's signature style. Icons are icons for a reason, after all, and for the 2015 Golden Globes, model Behati Prinsloo and stylist Gio Campora went for an updated Bardo 'do.

"My inspiration for Behati's look was Brigitte Bardot, but we made it a little more undone for a modern twist," Campora says.

GET THE LOOK: BEHATI PRINSLOO'S MODERN BARDOT

STEP 1: Begin with wet hair. Work in KMS California AddVolume volumizing spray and KMS California Freeshape quick blow dry.

STEP 2: Blowdry hair using a round brush.

STEP 3: Curl hair using a 1-inch curling iron, then put in rollers to hold volume while cooling (they used this time to do Prinsloo's makeup).

STEP 4: Take out rollers, brush out hair and pull it back into a bun. Pin the bun, then loosen some strands on the sides to give it a modern, undone look.

STEP 5: Rub KMS California TameFrizz taming creme onto hands and brush them along the sides of hair; focus on the loosened ends to keep down flyaways.

STEP 6: Set hair with KMS California Hairstay medium hold spray. Spray liberally on hairstyle to ensure it stays in place.
